About Jamie Renee
Jamie Renee is a licensed esthetician, sugaring specialist, educator, and the owner of Your Body’s ReTreat in Hurst, Texas. She has served clients through Your Body’s ReTreat since 2003 and has specialized in professional body sugaring since 2010.
Jamie’s work combines technical skill, compassionate client care, and a deep respect for the trust clients place in her. Whether someone is booking a Brazilian sugaring appointment, a custom facial, or advanced skincare treatment, Jamie’s goal is to create a professional, respectful, and comfortable experience.
Professional Background
Jamie began her career in the wellness industry in 1998 after graduating from Wellness Skills Inc. in Fort Worth, Texas. In 2009, she expanded her professional focus into skincare and completed the 750-hour esthetics program at Ogle School in Hurst, Texas. She later completed an additional 500-hour program to earn her Esthetician Instructor license.
Jamie became certified in Advanced Body Sugaring in June 2010. She quickly developed a passion for hand sugaring and recognized the need for more advanced, hands-on education in professional body sugaring, especially for Brazilian and intimate-area hair removal.
In 2012, Jamie became a certified body sugaring educator and began helping other licensed professionals build confidence in sugaring technique, client care, body mechanics, and professional boundaries.
Sugaring Expertise
Jamie specializes in professional body sugaring using the hand-sugaring method, also known as the ball method. Her approach is thorough, respectful, and technique-focused.
She is known for helping nervous clients feel more comfortable, especially those receiving Brazilian sugaring or intimate hair removal services for the first time. Jamie believes sugaring should never feel rushed, impersonal, or assembly-line. Her goal is to provide efficient service while still honoring client comfort, dignity, and trust.
Jamie also teaches sugaring certification classes and advanced education for licensed estheticians, cosmetologists, and eligible beauty students. Her classes focus on real-world sugaring technique, paste control, timing, pressure, body mechanics, client communication, and hands-on practice.

Jamie’s skincare philosophy is simple: customized, effective, and approachable. She believes quality skincare does not have to be overly complicated, intimidating, or reserved only for the elite.
At Your Body’s ReTreat, Jamie offers customized facials and advanced skin treatments designed around each client’s skin needs, time, and goals. Her facial approach blends corrective skincare, advanced modalities, skilled touch, hydration, and barrier support.
Her current skincare focus includes customized facials, oxygen facial treatments, Korean skincare-inspired treatments, Elaine Brennan peels, Jet Cold Plasma treatments, microcurrent, LED, infusion techniques, and progressive skin restoration.

Jamie is also the founder of Sugaring Source, a professional resource and referral directory created to support the sugaring industry. Sugaring Source helps consumers find qualified sugaring professionals while also helping sugaring professionals connect, refer, and build stronger community within the industry.
Through Sugaring Source and Sugaring Source Pro, Jamie continues to support education, networking, professional standards, and collaboration within the sugaring community.

Jamie was born in Berkeley, California, and raised in Texas. Fort Worth, Arlington, Hurst, and the surrounding DFW area have all shaped her sense of home.
She loves travel, dancing, tropical spaces, palm trees, the ocean, and anything that brings a little coastal calm into everyday life. That relaxed, beach-inspired energy is reflected throughout Your Body’s ReTreat.
