Cancellation and NO SHOW Policy: Effective May 13, 2021
Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please note the following policy:
- A 12-hour notice is required for any single service appointment.
- A 24-hour notice is required for any packages or multiple services.
CANCELLATION OR RESCHEDULING FEES
All appointments not cancelled or rescheduled within the time frame specified above will be assessed a fee of 50% of the scheduled service. Any No-Shows will be assessed a fee equal to the full value of the service cost.
You may cancel your appointment ONLINE up to 12 hours in advance. We understand that unforeseen circumstances arise. If you do not cancel your appointment within 12 hours, so that we may fill your appointment slot, you will be charged 50% of the scheduled service. NO-SHOW: If you do not show up for your appointment and never call, you will be charged in full for your appointment. If we are unable to charge your card, we will send you an invoice for the fee. If you respect the business relationship and wish to receive services from us in the future, we appreciate you making this a priority. COVID 19: We are happy to help you reschedule any appointments if you feel sick, or if you have a fever or cough. Going forward, we will be strictly enforcing the sickness policy. With this in mind, please also be considerate of the time. We have had clients cancel within 15 minutes of their appointment “due to being sick”. While we will not charge a fee for the RESCHEDULING due to sickness, we offer a ONE TIME grace for LAST MINUTE cancellations. It is disheartening that it must be said, but we do realize when our policies are taken advantage of. We value your time and we appreciate that you value ours. I’m a woman, what if I get my period?
Cancelling due to Periods/Menstrual Cycles: Ladies, it is OK if you have your period. You can STILL get sugared. If this is something you are not comfortable with, we understand. However, PLEASE try to plan your sugaring appointments accordingly. Calling or texting us 15 minutes before an 8:30 am Saturday appointment because your period arrived is a challenge for us. Going forward, if you wish to cancel short notice due to getting your period, we will charge you for the appointment that day AND you will receive the credit within ONE WEEK of rescheduling. We hope this will prevent those who wish to cancel all together.
DO NOT SHAVE! If you arrive to your sugaring appointment with less than optimal hair length, we will charge you for the appointment and have to reschedule. Do not shave within 7 days of your sugaring appointment. We prefer 10 days. Shaving on Wednesday for an appointment on Saturday ain’t going to cut it! The service will be less than optimal and we will still charge you!! Do not cancel the day of because the hair isn’t long enough. 10 full days is optimal. This allows us to get all the hair at first go! HYDRATE! Stay away from caffeine.
Hair Removal Appointments:
No lotion or oil on the part to be sugared as the sugar will not adhere. When booking a sugaring appointment, please have 10-14 days of hair growth. DO NOT SHAVE, see above. Sugaring may be able to extract hair by the root at 1/16th of an inch, however, it will be extremely time consuming and the service may not be as thorough. We would be disappointed for you to have to reschedule the appointment if your hair is not long enough, and we will still have to charge you. DO NOT worry if it is too long, we will trim your hair if it is too long. Also, exfoliate (we are partial to the exfoliating washcloth, body wash poofs and granular scrubs are not as effective) and hydrate (drink lots of water) a few days prior to your appointment, just not the day of. This will reduce the amount of hair breakage and enable us to remove more hair by the root. New Clients for Maintenance Visits ~ If this is your first visit to Your Body’s ReTreat and you have scheduled a Brazilian Maintenance, the first visit will be $70 and consecutive visits will be $55. Online deals, vouchers and coupons are only valid on regularly priced services.
Facial Service Clients: ~ Please arrive with your makeup removed. Our facial services are priced on time to accommodate a modest budget. Shorter timed services (anything less than an hour) do not allow much time for the removal of excessive makeup.
Yelp Deals, Groupon Deals, On-line Discounts, Email Coupons:
Any deals, percentages off, dollars off, discounts or coupons that you receive for services are valid on regularly priced services during normal business hours. This particularly relates to the V.I.P. Brazilian Sugaring Maintenance visit that is typically $55-65, this is a $30 savings incentive to maintain your appointment. Regularly priced Brazilians are $85.00.
Every now and again, we may accommodate clients earlier or later than normal hours and on Sundays and Mondays when we are typically closed. If you would like to use an online deal or coupon, please schedule during our normal business hours.
Your Body’s ReTreat is located at 204 W. Bedford Euless Rd Suite 101, Hurst, Texas 76053. This location is on the corner of Harrison and Bedford Euless Rd. directly across from Miguelitos Restaurant. There are two main doors to the Bedford Office Suites, 200 and 204. Go inside 204 (the left door, which is sort of hidden), suite 101 will be the first suite on the left. Suite 102 (Melissa) is the second door on the right. Here are some photographs to help you out.
When you arrive: If you are early, please wait until your scheduled time to come inside. Jamie is in suite 101 and appointments with Melissa are in suite 102. Our suite doors may be locked. Please have a seat in the chair outside suite 101. Please understand that we afford every client the courtesy of a private and discreet service. Clients may discuss matters of a personal and medical nature. For these reasons, this is why we ask clients to wait outside the suite until we are ready for them. We make every effort to allow ample time between services to complete the service and necessary disinfection. On occasion, we may run a few minutes behind. We will always make an attempt to call you if we feel we are grossly behind schedule. We promise to take very good care of you at all times! We realize your time is just as valuable as ours.
Saturday/Sunday, and After Hour “Privileged” Appointments:
Our normal operating hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, Saturday 8:30am-3;30pm. Any scheduled time before or after regular hours, or on Sunday, is considered a special “after hour” appointment and is a privilege. If you cancel or simply do not show for a privileged appointment, you will not be offered one again. Our schedules can be super tight at times. Saturdays are most definitely the most sought after day for appointments and it is difficult to fill no-shows and last minute cancellations. Daily deals, Groupons, discounts and coupons are not valid before or after regular hours, or on Sunday. Please make sure you can commit to appointments made on Saturday and Sundays, or any privileged time slot.
Vacation Dates: June 17-22, 2021, August 26-30, 2021, October 21-November 4, 2021. Please schedule your maintenance/follow-up appointments accordingly for December 2020 and January 2021. This will ensure optimal accommodation. Thank you!
About Bringing Guests and Children to Your Appointment:
***At this time (May 10, 2020), due to COVID-19, NO GUESTS OR CHILDREN ARE ALLOWED. This is the rule set forth by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Spouses or Cohabiting couples may arrive together so long as both parties are receiving a service. Thank you for understanding.***
Relaxing Massage Therapy and Facial sessions are taking place in other suites during our appointment time. There is a small waiting area for guests accompanying you, however, children must be able to maintain quiet conversations as to not disturb massage and facial treatments. We kindly ask guests to silence their cell phones and take conversations outside the suite. Thank you for this consideration. Here is some more information about bringing a significant other, best friend or spouse along to watch.
