What Is the Pumpkin Latte Facial, and Why Should You Receive One?
If your skin feels rough, dry, tight, or a little less radiant than usual, my Pumpkin Latte Facial may be just the refresh you need.
This seasonal treatment combines thorough cleansing, enzyme exfoliation, and a rich hydrating masque to leave skin feeling softer, smoother, and comfortably moisturized. It is one of my favorite options for someone receiving their first facial or anyone wanting to give their skin some extra attention as the weather cools.
At Your Body’s ReTreat in Hurst, Texas, I customize the treatment to your skin rather than using the same products on everyone. My goal is for you to leave with skin that feels cared for—and to understand a little more about what it needs.
What Happens During a Pumpkin Latte Facial?
Your facial begins before you arrive, with an online intake form. We follow that with a brief consultation to discuss your skin, your current products, recent treatments, and what you hope to get from your appointment.
A Thorough Double Cleanse
I select a cleanser appropriate for your skin and cleanse twice. The second cleanse is removed with warm, moist towels.
This gives us a clean starting point before moving into exfoliation and hydration.
Enzyme Exfoliation for Smoother Skin
Next, I apply Hale & Hush Incredible Enzymes. You may notice a cranberry-like aroma, but the exfoliating ingredients include fruit-derived enzymes rather than a cranberry scrub.
Two key ingredients are:
- Papain, an enzyme derived from papaya.
- Bromelain, an enzyme derived from pineapple.
These enzymes help break down proteins in dead surface skin cells, allowing them to be removed without the scrubbing action of a granular exfoliant. haleandhush.com
What I am looking for is smoother skin without leaving it feeling raw or overworked. Exfoliation is a step I adjust to the condition of your skin, rather than assuming more is always better.
A Hydrating Serum and Pumpkin Latte Masque
After exfoliation, I apply a serum selected for your skin’s needs. That may be a hyaluronic acid serum when hydration is our priority.
Then I layer Eminence Organic Skin Care Pumpkin Latte Hydration Masque over the serum and allow it to remain on your skin for approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
A few ingredients worth highlighting are:
- Pumpkin purée, which supplies beta-carotene and other nutrients.
- Avocado oil, which helps moisturize and soften skin.
- Aloe vera, which helps soothe and refresh dry skin.
Together, these ingredients support the masque’s focus on moisture and comfort. Eminence Organic Skin Care
After removing the masque, I finish with an appropriate serum and moisturizer, followed by sunscreen for daytime appointments.
Massage in the One-Hour Facial
The one-hour Pumpkin Latte Facial includes approximately 15 to 20 minutes of massage throughout the service.
I begin with facial and scalp massage. While the masque rests, you receive upper-arm and hand massage.
As both an esthetician and massage therapist, I value this part of the experience. Your appointment is an opportunity to give your skin attention while also taking time to settle in and relax.
The 45-minute express facial focuses on the skincare steps and does not include massage.
What Results Have I Seen?
One client’s skin felt noticeably rough before this facial—almost like sandpaper.
After the enzyme exfoliation, I could already feel a difference. The surface felt smoother, without that raw feeling that can come from doing too much.
By the end of the treatment, after the Pumpkin Latte masque, serum, and moisturizer, their skin looked dewy and radiant. What the client appreciated most was the change in how it felt: the grainy texture was gone, and their skin felt clean and properly hydrated.
That is the kind of result I look for with this facial. Individual results vary, but softer texture and a more comfortable, moisturized feeling are meaningful improvements.
Who Is the Pumpkin Latte Facial For?
I especially like this facial for someone who:
- Is receiving their first professional facial.
- Notices dry, rough, or tight-feeling skin.
- Wants a smoother-looking, more radiant complexion.
- Prefers a treatment focused on hydration and comfort.
- Wants a seasonal facial with the option of added massage.
Although I usually offer it during October, November, and into December, the need for hydration is not limited to fall. This is simply the time of year when I bring this particular experience onto my menu.
The treatment can be adapted for different skin types, but your intake and consultation still matter. Your skin’s current condition, recent treatments, allergies, and medications help determine whether it is appropriate that day.
What If I Want More Targeted Correction?
The Pumpkin Latte Facial is primarily about cleansing, smoothing, moisturizing, and relaxation.
If your main concern is persistent uneven tone, pigmentation, or another issue that needs a more targeted plan, we may discuss a different service. One option to explore is the Elaine Brennan GetGlowing Micro-Peel, with suitability determined during consultation.
You do not have to know which treatment to choose before asking for help. Part of my role is helping you match the service to your goals.
Dry Skin and Dehydrated Skin Are Different
One thing I want clients to understand is that dry skin and dehydrated skin are not quite the same.
Dry skin is associated with a lack of oil and the lipids that help keep skin comfortable. Dehydrated skin lacks water. You can experience both at once, and even oily skin can feel dehydrated.
That distinction matters because skin may need both water-binding ingredients and moisturizing ingredients that help hold moisture in.
I encourage clients to think about their daily habits as well as their products. Staying adequately hydrated and eating water-rich fruits and vegetables support overall health. At the same time, drinking water does not replace a suitable skincare routine.
How Can You Maintain That Hydrated Feeling at Home?
Your facial gives us an opportunity to care for your skin and discuss what you can do between visits.
My approach is to keep homecare practical and appropriate for your skin:
- Cleanse gently.
- Use a moisturizer suited to your skin’s needs.
- Avoid scrubbing or exfoliating simply because your skin feels rough.
- Pay attention to whether hot showers or other daily habits leave your skin feeling tight.
- Use sunscreen consistently.
- Follow the aftercare recommendations we discuss at your appointment.
Appropriate exfoliation can help smooth a buildup of dead surface cells, but moisturizers can still work without exfoliation. The goal is to support your skin, not to keep removing more of its surface.
If you are exploring homecare options, you can also ask me about Shape Memory Repair Cream. We can discuss whether it fits your skin and your current routine rather than adding a product just for the sake of having another step.
What Should You Tell Me Before Your Appointment?
Please share any recent exfoliation, chemical peels, laser treatments, or IPL treatments before booking. Recent sunburn, significant sun exposure, or plans for substantial sun exposure are also important to discuss.
Your intake should include:
- Current skincare products, especially exfoliants and prescription products.
- Medications, including medications used during cancer treatment.
- Allergies or previous reactions to skincare products.
- Pregnancy.
- Medical conditions or concerns that may require guidance from your healthcare provider.
These details help me decide whether to customize, postpone, or recommend a different treatment. Please contact me before booking if you are unsure about timing after another procedure.
How Much Does the Pumpkin Latte Facial Cost?
There are two options, depending on how much time you would like to spend on your treatment:
- 45-minute express Pumpkin Latte Facial: normally $125, currently offered at $99. Includes the skincare treatment without massage.
- One-hour Pumpkin Latte Facial: normally $150, currently offered at $125. Includes the skincare treatment plus approximately 15 to 20 minutes of massage.
Seasonal availability and promotional pricing may change, so check the current menu when scheduling.
Why Choose a Pumpkin Latte Facial?
In my experience, a facial does not have to be aggressive to be worthwhile.
Sometimes your skin needs a thorough cleanse, carefully chosen exfoliation, and time with moisturizing products that leave it feeling comfortable again. Sometimes you also need an hour where you can relax and let someone take care of you.
That is what I want my Pumpkin Latte Facial to offer: thoughtful skincare, a softer and smoother feel, and a welcoming place to begin if professional facials are new to you.
