Hurst Accommodations

When traveling for continuing education, such as the sugaring certification in Hurst, Texas, it is helpful to know a little bit about the area.

Hurst Airports:

DFW airport is most preferred as it is 13 miles from the class location.

Love Field airport is 21 miles from class location.

Hurst Hotels:

I prefer the hotels off Thousand Oaks Drive. They are the closest and offer guest rather nice amenities such as complimentary breakfasts.

Hyatt Place Fort Worth (Hurst)
1601 Hurst Town Center Dr.
Hurst, TX 76054

Hampton Inn & Suites
1600 Hurst Town Center Dr.
Hurst, TX 76054

Holiday Inn Express
820 Thousand Oaks Dr.
Hurst, TX 76054

There are many other options in the area, but the offer the best accommodations at the best value all the while being super close to the class location.

Hurst Car Rental

The local car rental companies are many times more affordable than renting at the airport. Check the hotel, they have shuttles. With Uber and Lyft, you’ll be able to move around the area quite affordably.

Hurst Restaurants

There are SO MANY! Here are my personal recommendations.

Italianis is walking distance to the hotels listed. Incredible Italian food!

1601 Precinct Line Road
Hurst, TX 76054

Abuelos is also walking distance to the hotel. Pretty great for a chain.

850 Airport Freeway
Hurst, Texas 76054

Catfish and Company is one exit away from the hotels listed. You may not want to walk it though. They do the best Catfish and fried green tomatoes. They have additional items on the menu as well.

Catfish and Company
900 Airport Fwy #110, Hurst, TX 76054

A quick Uber up to Central Drive (5 exits away) you will find MK Sushi. I highly recommend!

MK Sushi
2400 Airport Fwy, Bedford, TX 76022

Thai Thip is on the corner of Hurstview and Harwood 1.4 miles from class location. Everything is great here!

Thai Thip
461 W Harwood Rd, Hurst, TX 76054

Miguelitos is across the street from the class location. Don’t bother with the house margarita, just get the top shelf and make it a jumbo. You only need 1 and of course a driver.

209 W Bedford Euless Rd, Hurst, TX 76053

3 Nina’s Mexican restaurant is more like a small “hole in the wall” authentic taco shop. They are the kindest family run local place. I’ve only eaten tacos there, but many students have ordered other entrees that look delicious. My favorite are the breakfast tacos and fajita taco plate. The green salsa is to die for. Do not bother with anything other than their corn tortillas as they are made fresh daily. They are out of this world. Tell Temok, Jenny, and Kelly, Jamie sent you!

Things to do in Hurst, Texas

Since we are smack in the middle of Dallas and Fort Worth, you will not find much exciting night life here. If you plan to stay an extra day or two, I recommend going to Downtown Fort Worth. There is so much culture in Fort Worth and it is super underrated.

Hurst, Texas has a few sports bars, so I will list those.

Broncos Sports Bar

Boomer Jack’s Bar & Grill

Big Shot’s Sports Cafe

O’Sheas Irish Pub

Fort Worth Stockyards

Fort Worth Water Gardens

Fort Worth Zoo

Sundance Square
